London Marathon - Meningitis Research Foundation.

Cherwell Electrical Supplies' Andy Gardner and his wife, Louise, have been lucky in securing a charity place for the London Marathon 2022. Tragically they lost their son Cameron in 2003, not long before his 5th birthday to meningitis and therefore the Meningitis Research Foundation has become close to their hearts. This awful illness tragically also took their cousin’s little girl Ava at the age of 13 months, a family devastated  twice, two beautiful innocent children gone forever.

Louise has completed 2 half marathons (not recently) and always vowed never to take on a full marathon, but here they both are, about to start training for a 26.2 mile run. Cameron fought so hard to stay with us only to lose his battle 24 hours later, and this will be for him, Ava and everyone else affected by this terrible disease.

Both Louise and Andy have a target of £2000 (£4000 in total). Please please support them and this charity if you can. Donations no matter how small would be gratefully received.
